OWP Comedy "Mixed Nuts"
Auditions October 14, 18, 21

BAINBRIDGE - The Out of the Woodwork Players will hold auditions Oct. 14, 18 and 21 for their April 2027 comedy, "Mixed Nuts."

This Simon J. Donoghue/Nancy Manera play centers around wanna-be writer, Michael, and his adventures with fellow struggling artists.

Other residents in the "Adolph Zuckerman Home for Artistes" include: Loopy landlady, Edna; Marshall, the mostly vegetable commercial performer; primal prima ballerina, Tanya Romanov; and aspiring actress, Phil Della Vecchia.

Completing the chaotic collection of characters are Michael's mother (Mrs. Caldwell), his alter ego, (Mike), and Heather, the model whose narcissism nears neurosis.

Auditions will be held in the Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 14 and 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, October 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. The show will be presented April 16, 17, 18, 2027.
