Growing up in Smyrna, Matt Nakoa is now an internationally touring singer-songwriter. He began writing music as a teenager, and won a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston. After college, he toured and wrote music with the Berklee born band, The Fens. He soon began a solo career, and touring, including playing at the White House.
