 Hall of Fame and Museum (NAHOF) induction ceremonies for the 2016 inductee
 s will be held Saturday\, October 22\, 2016 at NAHOF\, 5255 Pleasant Valle
 y Road\, Peterboro NY 13134. The afternoon Abolition Symposia will present
  programs on each of the inductees: Rev. John Gregg Fee at 12:30 pm\, Beri
 ah Green at 1:30 pm\, Angelina Grimké at 2:30 pm\, James W.C. Pennington a
 t 3:30 pm. The Induction Ceremonies will commence at 7 pm. Each nominator 
 will briefly describe the reasons that the inductee should be included in 
 the Abolition Hall of Fame. Relatives and affiliates will second the nomin
 ation and the official NAHOF portraits created by Melissa Moshetti will be
  presented. Max Alden Smith\, CoChair of Peterboro Emancipation Day will p
 rovide musical renditions throughout the evening\, along with commentaries
  by Hugh Humphreys\, a member of the NAHOF Cabinet of Freedom. Jan DeAmici
 s\, Co-Chair of the Oneida County Freedom Trail Commission\, will commemor
 ate the 181st anniversary of the inaugural meeting of the New York State A
 ntislavery Society in the building of the NAHOF event. An 11 o’clock a san
 dwich buffet will be provided by the Peterboro United Methodist Church. Af
 ter the Abolition Symposia in the afternoon\, the Deli on the Green will c
 ater the annual Antislavery Dinner at 5 p.m. The Peterboro Mercantile will
  have books\, buttons\, stationery\, and other items related to the induct
 ions available at the event. Book signings by presenting authors will also
  be available. The Gerrit Smith Estate National Historic Landmark (5304 Ox
 bow Road\, Peterboro NY) and the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museu
 m will open at 9 am on Sunday\, October 23. Norman K. Dann PhD\, Gerrit Sm
 ith biographer\, will conduct a tour of the Gerrit Smith Estate at 9:00 am
 . A registration package for the Induction sandwich lunch buffet\, Aboliti
 on Symposia\, Antislavery Dinner\, and Evening Ceremonies for $55 is due O
 ctober 15 to the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum\, 5255 Pleasan
