 erican studies and a founder and board member of the National Abolition Ha
 ll of Fame and Museum\n\nThe Cabinet of Freedom discussed Tubman’s placeme
 nt on U.S. currency at its last board meeting\, expressing its pride in Tu
 bman’s induction in 2005 with the first class of abolitionists. The Tubman
  news has energized the board for its seasonal opening. NAHOF is open from
  1-5 pm Saturdays and Sundays\, and from 12 – 4 pm on Mondays-Thursdays\, 
 for special events\, and by appointment. CHANGING AMERICA\, an exhibit fro
 m the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Cultur
 e will open at NAHOF with a special program on Saturday\, June 4. The publ
 ic is encouraged to attend the opening introduction\, the reception with r
 efreshments\, and the musical program at 5255 Pleasant Valley Road\, Peter
