 ser The Earlville Opera House is pleased to host a fundraiser featuring lo
 cal favorites Jubilation! Women’s Vocal Ensemble Friday August 18 at 8 PM.
  The event will serve as a fundraiser for the historic Earlville Opera Hou
 se. Community events like this one allow the Earlville Opera House to cont
 inue bringing world-quality live musical performances and art installation
 s to central New York\, and facilitates the art education workshops and cl
 asses hosted for adults and children of all ages. Jubilation! Women’s Voca
 l Ensemble was started in 2007 with nine members. Since that time\, the gr
 oup has doubled in size and become a valuable part of the Hamilton communi
 ty. Members range in both age and background. Though Jubilation! is based 
 in Hamilton\, members come from as far as Brookfield and Rome to participa
 te. One of the goals of the ensemble is to bring a variety of different mu
 sic to each performance\; some music is intended to uplift the audience\, 
 and some music shares a deep-rooted\, powerful message. It is also importa
 nt to them to create an environment of friendship and support. One of the 
 things that is unique about Jubilation! is their goal of giving back. Afte
 r each concert\, a portion of the proceeds are given to an elected organiz
 ation that they feel is deserving. Some of these are close to home\, such 
 as Vera House and HCS Friends of Music. Others are international\, includi
 ng Smile Train and\, most recently\, Geneva Call. Anyone interested in joi
