en’s contributions to the arts\, as well their voices in our communities\,
marking the centennial of women’s suffrage in New York State\, three year
s ahead of the rest of our nation. After a century of progress and change\
, the impact and power of women’s voices in our communities remain a vital
contribution to our cultural experience. The five concerts are planned fo
r Thursday evenings at 7 PM starting 7/13 and ending 8/10. Kicking off the
series July 13th is SAMMY-award winner and local favorite Lauren Mettler.
A singer-songwriter born and raised in CNY Mettler boasts a practice of d
elving into many different genres and cultures for insight and nuance. Her
writing is evocative\, empathetic\, and gently explorative\, inviting her
audience to face their own vulnerabilities and others’ as well. Performan

on the north end of the Village Green. Both locations are wheelchair acce

and co-presented by the Earlville Opera House. The Village of Hamilton is
grateful for funds from the Decentralization Program\, a regrant program o
f the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andr
