  works of two artists in its art gallery. In the Main Gallery\, Angela Coo
 k will present abstract acrylic paintings inspired by Expressionism. In th
 e Exhibition Room\, John Carroll will display landscape and still life pai
 ntings done in oil. The gallery is open from Monday to Friday from 10:30 a
 .m. until 5:00 p.m. for walk-in visits. Below are the artists' statements.
 \n\n“I'm a local abstract expressionism artist that weaves together my lov
 e of old ways with a modern twist. What inspires me is the vibrations of m
 usic and trying to capture those images floating in my mind's eye. I have 
 shown my art pieces in many venues around town over the past seizures year
 s.”-Angela Cook\n\n'I paint because of a desire to express deeply personal
  interpretations of the world around me. Sometimes directly\, other times 
 with much thought and planning\, I'll show as best I can the effect or inf
 luence a subject brings to me. I do this\, for the most part\, through app
 lying a mixture of Abstract principles and Representational Imagery.'-John
