For more than 14 years, the Chenango Arts Council has been raising eyebrows with its bi-annual themed Gala fundraisers. This year, the CAC invites community members young and young-at-heart to the Northeast Classic Car Museum on Rexford Street in Norwich for a thrilling evening of laughs, exquisite entertainment, and a diverse menu in the spirit of Bonnie and Clyde.
Those attending can opt to dress in post-prohibition 30’s attire and pose before one of the museum’s many period motorcars made famous by the infamous blazing duo themselves as a one-off souvenir. Exquisite menus carefully prepared by Tuller’s Catering along with artisanal confections by MiBy Kim ensure a culinary workout for the most discerning of palettes. The authentic sounds of a hot brass juke joint will lend itself to the mystique of the evening thanks to SAMMY Award-winners The Horn Dogs.
The Gala’s ever popular silent auction is back again along with raffles and cash bar to add to the excitement.
Seating for this every-other year event is limited, so call the Chenango Arts Council at 607-336-ARTS or email email@example.com.
About the Horn Dogs: The Horn Dogs began when high school friends from Solvay joined forces to have fun while creating some great music along the way. The result: a brass quartet with a dizzying rhythm, blistering guitar, keys and spitfire vocalist Shelly Harris. While over the years the lineup of excellent musicians has evolved, the fun and great music continues onward. The Horn Dogs regularly tour the upstate New York club circuit and have quickly become one of the top Horn/Party bands of today. The Horn Dogs are always adding new music and keeping on top of today's trends and still playing new timeless classics and at new venues throughout Upstate New York.
