Call for Artists!

The Southern Tier Biennial (STB) is a professionally juried contemporary art exhibition open to nine counties of the NYS Southern Tier. Founded in 2003, STB was created to make a measurable and positive difference to rural artists.

Exhibition: September 21- October 25, 2013 at Olean Public Library Gallery and Jamestown Community College Center Gallery, Olean, NY.

Open to all artists, 18 and older, who currently reside in Allegany, Broome, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler, Tioga and Tompkins counties. All visual media is eligible.

Awards: All accepted artsits receive $100 stipend. Best of show receives $1,000, a 2014 solo exhibition which includes a color catalog, $1,000 in show supplies and $1,000 for professional development. Three Honorable Mention winners receive $500.
