Event Description:

"Sicilian Crossings and the Derived Communities" is a world-class exhibit of 120 2x5'sail-like panels. It is the creation of Prof. Marcello Saija of the University of Messina, Italy. Six separate sections comprise "Sicilian Crossings" including one on the areas in Sicily from where people emigrated and another on where they ended up ("The Derived Communities"). The Sicilian panels include one on the island of Libre, which will be of special interest to Norwich. The stateside panels include a brief look at the Norwich community, as well as Little Italy in NYC and the New Orleans community, among many others. Norwich is one of only six venues for Crossings in the US. If you have even the slightest connection to Sicily, you will treasure the experience of seeing this exhibit!
