| Event Description: |
Traditional Irish Instrumental Musical group from the Bainbridge area will perform in this intimate and informal setting for an evening of musical congeniality such as is found in Irish pubs and homes in America where Irish immigrants and their descendents gather in social community to share music stories, songs, refreshment and other forms of self-entertainment. The instrumental music often accompanies dancing, and includes jigs, hornpipes, reels, slip jigs, polkas, slides and marches, as well as slow airs derived from songs. Members of the audience may feels like dancing to the music and might just get up and follow their inclination to do so. Refreshments and raffle tickets will be available. |
