6 On The Square

We are honored to have Cliff Eberhardt perform on our stage as a benefit, supporting the musical programing here at 6OTS He has honed his killer songwriting skills. At times, he has a guitar that might catch fire (no kidding: we watch for smoke when he plays "I will not walk in my father's shoes...). And a voice that you already know (remember "It's the heartbeat of America. Chevrolet"? Yeah). There's more: he was part of the Greenwich Village New Folk Movement and his songs have been covered by Richie Havens, Buffy St. Marie, and Dar Williams/Richard Shindell/ Lucy Kaplansky as the trio Cry, Cry, Cry, and more. He composed and performed original music in the role of the Blind Balladeer for the Folger SHakespeare Theater's production of the Taming of the Shrew, to rave reviews and awards Nine albums and repeated appearances on top folk artist lists explain he press applause. We could go on... Tickets are $20 . Sorry- no discounts or comps for the show!
